NMMS 2002 Foray Lodging Information
Note: Sipapu Lodge is almost filled up (all motel rooms, suites and bunk rooms are taken; only dormitory rooms are left). There are cabins available for rent in Tres Ritos (3 miles down the road from Sipapu). Room prices range from $45 - $115.

  • Participants must reserve their own lodging.
  • Ann Whitaker, our contact at Sipapu Lodge, is there Tuesdays to Saturdays, 9am - 5pm. Members should make reservations with Ann only, she understands the NMMS blocked rooms. Either telephone (505-587-2240) or fax (505-587-1038).
  • Units not booked and confirmed on or before June 22, 2002, were released to the general public for booking.
  • Listed below are the accommodations available to us, listed by order of decreasing cost.
  • Units do not have telephones or televisions.
    • Suites (4)
  • $81 for 3 people, $9 each additional person, per night plus taxes.
  • The suites have a livingroom, kitchenette, bathroom and a bedroom with 2 queen size beds. The livingroom futon couch folds out into a double bed.

    • Motel Rooms (16)
  • $59 for 2 people, $5 each additional person, per night plus taxes
  • The motel rooms have 2 queen size beds and full bathroom. (no kitchen)

    • Dormitory Rooms (5)
  • $44 for 4, $11 each additional person, per night plus taxes
  • The rooms have 4 bunk beds and a bathroom with shower.
  • Bring your own linen and towels.
  • The dormitory rooms are on the 3rd floor, (accessed up two flights of stairs).

    • Bunk Rooms (4)
  • $29 for 2, add $9 each additional person, per night plus taxes.
  • The rooms have 2 bunk beds, a small bathroom, 2 burner hot plate, small refrigerator and table.
  • Bring your own linen and towels.
  • The bunk rooms are not spacious, but they're cute.

    • RV camper spot with hookups (2) - $19

    Campsites (no hookups)
  • $9 a night
  • Some of the campsites are next to the stream. The camping area has many shade trees.
    • Cancellation Policy:
  • Sipapu has a 30 day cancellation policy when an individual places a reservation on a personal credit card. This means cancellations and shortening stays must be done 30 days before the arrival date (at the Foray). Therefore the deadline to cancel or make changes is July 22.
