Cooking Presentation - Oct 7 - RSVP
  • In lieu of our regular 1st Tuesday meeting, MaryLee and John Sparks have invited chef Carlo Gislimberti (Villa Fontana) to give a cooking demonstration at their house on Monday, Oct 7th, beginning at 6:00 pm.
  • Limited space requires that this gathering be limited to a maximum of 25 NMMS members. Carlo needs to have an accurate count of those attending, so please contact MaryLee ASAP if you plan to participate.

    • Norma Lynn Performs in Santa Fe - Nov 3rd
  • A fundraising benefit for Seniors Reaching Out will feature the singing of NMMS member Norma Lynn.
  • Performance will be at the Santa Fe Playhouse on Sunday, Nov 3rd, from 7-9 pm.

    • November Meeting ?
  • The November meeting is scheduled for Tuesday the 5th, a day which will find many of us at the polls voting against our candidates of choice. Wisdom suggests that this might not be a good date for a meeting. We really should have a November Meeting, since it is at that gathering that we hold our annual election of officers. At this point, we have no plans to cancel or re-schedule, but we might. I will let folks know of the plan as soon as we decide.

        Ursula Peintner writes from Austria, "I am sorry to inform you that our teacher and friend Dr. Meinhard Moser died on September 30th after a short illness. The funeral will be held on Friday, 4th October 2002 at 14.00 in Innsbruck, Wiltener Friedhof, followed by a requiem in the Basilika of Wilten. It is not only a tremendous loss for the mycological world. We all will miss him and his lovable personality!"
