Old Business

  1. 2002 Foray
    1. Dave felt the advance (with registration) task volunteer list worked well.
    2. Use sign-up sheets for field trips.
    3. Doing a presort of mushrooms collected each day, away from the display area, helped to reduce the untidiness and clutter at the display area.
    4. After foray, return the collected mushrooms to the woods.
    5. Field Trip Safety
    6. Structure is a good safety practice, e.g. sign-up sheets.

    8. Each vehicle is responsible for keeping track of the vehicle immediately in its trace.
  2. Mushroom Cooking Demonstration

    • don't meet in some months when not much is happening, e.g. winter months
  10. Change meeting date from first Tuesday to ?
  11. NM Mountain Club meets on Wed, 9/18, 1930, at B'nai Israel, Indian School and Washington. Dave and Terri Wallis will give a presentation, which will include scoop on mushrooms. They encourage NMMS members to attend.

Respectfully submitted, Mark Kalin
