Dying with mushrooms, lichens, berries, and other natural products on special media like wools, silk, paper, etc. Also papermaking and paper-dying, printing on textiles, and watercolouring with these dyes. Classes for beginners through advanced. All this in vibrant central Finland, near the arctic circle. The symposium is limited to 120 participants, so they are asking for applications before March 1, 2001. Lodging is in double rooms at Rovala school, and a few additional rooms in a small lodging house 5 minutes' walk away. |
