Mycological Foray Trip to Emilia Romagna
September 28-October 14, 2001

Ennio Giusti, former member of the Mycological Association of Washington, DC and now resident of Italy, will lead a foray trip through the region of Emilia Romagna, well known for its food.

Val di Taro, the site of the first foray, is the only area to be recognized by the European Union for the quality of its mushrooms.

The trip includes 3 star accommodations, all breakfasts and dinners, transportation by private bus, and seven or eight forays led by mycologists of the Gruppo Bressadola di Parma, (this is the group that organized the first foray trip of this series now in its seventh year). The main cities to be visited include Salsomaggiore, Modena, Parma, Faenza, Ferrara, Ravenna, and Bologna.
