Summer Foray at Wakulla Springs State Park and Lodge near Tallahassee,
Florida. The historic Lodge, built in 1937, and surrounding natural resources, is
designated as a National Natural Landmark. You may find time for birding,
swimming, or a River Cruise on the Wakulla River.
Our guest mycologist, Dr. Brian Akers of
St. Andrews Presbyterian College in
Laurinberg NC, will speak to us on the genus Lepiota. An additional talk
will be given by Dr. Bart Buyck of the
National Museum of Natural History in
Paris, France, on the genus Russula.
Cost of registration and lodging is $244 single or $294 double. The only
meal included is a Saturday sack lunch. Deadline for registration is June
18.
