27-30 September, 2001 -or- $130 for two nights lodging and 5 meals (Fri-Sunday) This will be the fourth year for this NAMA sponsored Regional Foray. Wildacres is a conference center situated on 1,400 acres at an elevation of 3,300 feet atop a mountain called Pompey’s Knob, near the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina. It is halfway between Asheville and Blowing Rock in North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains. Chief Mycologist will be Dr. Gregory Mueller, Associate Curator and Chairman of the Mycology Division within the Dept. of Botany at the Field Museum at Chicago, Illinois. Foray will be limited to 40-45 participants and rooms will be double occupancy only. Registration forms will be available in the July-August edition of The Mycophile and will also be available at the NAMA Website in early August.
